Every end is a new beginning. ***** Today’s the last day of American Pharmacist Month, but it definitely not the last day I’ll be talking about all the great things Pharmacists can do for their communities. This month has been a whirlwind in many ways, with school and personally. One highlight was definitely being elected as APhA-ASP Region 2 Regional Delegate. I’m honored by the opportunity and excited to see how I can use it to advance the profession I love so much. MRM was incredible opportunity because of all the students I was able to connect with, being able to participate in policy making, and being so reenergized after a very stressful month of school. I would recommend it to any and every pharmacy student. I also want to give a special shout out to the VCU group at MRM with me and all the support they gave me during the election process. Happy Women Pharmacist Day! ***** I’m so thankful to be surrounded by strong women already in pharmacy, going into pharmacy, and women who simply support me going into pharmacy. I could not think of a better way to celebrate than to relax during one of the most stressful months in pharmacy school than with some high speed thrill, some good food, and some even better friends. And take this as your PSA, let’s show some love to our ladies in all the healthcare fields cause trust me, in a field where patients often don’t think your the one in charge because you’re not a guy, you sometimes wonder why you even bothered.
