Hey kids! So, it's been a while since we made a mod post about anything that didn't have to do with just a plain old note. And truthfully, there are some things that we haven't really had a chance to address until now.
First of all, we really need to address some activity things that we've been noticing. Before I go further into this, I want to say that this does not apply to those who have already been active on the dash or have been doing their absolute best to be as active as possible. But one thing that we have noticed is that some people get frustrated because they aren't able to keep up with everything that's going on the dash. I gotta let you guys in on a secret... Alex and I don't know what's going on on the dash half the time ourselves! Please don't find the quick moving dash something to put you off. There are over fifty taken characters so not knowing what's going on on the dash is definitely something that could happen easily. If you're confused about something, or you want to know what's going on, ask in the OOC blog and see what can be told. If all else fails, wait for the previously post that we're going to be working on very soon. That will give you the broad overview of what's happened with various characters.
Oh! And as a side note, if you see an open starter unreplied to, go ahead and reply. Or, if it has been replied to, and you think you can answer, go ahead and reply as well. We prefer you go for the unreplied ones first of course, but activity is activity.
The next thing we wanted to speak to you lot about isn't as serious or rawr. It's about extra characters! As we all know, a fair few of us already have second and third characters, but this is going to somewhat stop. We're going to redefine the rules for that and enforce them. We haven't really because of the excitement of reopening, but that is going to change and stop. We'll let everyone know when everything is rewritten and reorganized.
Recently, we've been asked quite a bit about additional characters. We currently have less than ten open characters, so we completely understand the urge to have more of a selection. I would love to give you all a date for when we were going to add more characters, but I can't. I can tell you that when we do, there will be an even amount of male and female roles added.
Onto the real fun stuff! We're going to be having our first writing challenge this weekend! The post will be made very soon with all the details. It's going to be really fun, I promise.
Also, next weekend, we're going to be having our first event! The event will be helping moving us along through rp time to give you a bit of an idea of how to handle the weather outside. We'll probably get that post up sometime Monday.
