Many flat shapes are superimposed on each other, creating a bright, clear and juicy picture. This is a labor-intensive process. been thinking a lot lately about how ‘nostalgia cycles’ overlap and intersect at different points. how the 90s nostalgia gave way to y2k trends and how those are starting to morph into 2007core. how this culture we live in can romanticize so many distant times and places that sometimes also objectively sucked, like a never-ending rose-tinted daydream. it has a childlike naïveté to it that i hope we can hold on to when we finally begin to look toward the future again. <3
