Probably a long shot since Sobble’s clearly a lizard (or salamander?) but a marine reptile with the ability to literally make itself disappear would make for a cool Loch Ness Monster pokemon. It would even give an in universe reason for that particular starter being so rare!

The best thing to happen to the Venom movie was their inability to actually use Spider-Man, since it forced the writers of the script to have Eddie and Venom interact like actual characters and bond over something that wasn’t just “we both hate Spider-Man”

Yeah this is honestly the most I’ve ever liked Venom explicitly BECAUSE they managed to give him substance beyond “RAAARGH I CRAVE THAT SPIDER-MAN!”
