I've been ITCHING to draw your Vee since I saw them, so I finally did it! I don't know much about Cassette Beasts other than the fact that it's like Pokemon, but I like your AU!
-Bonus Spamton with them too..? His fatass is taking up almost the whole screen omfg /silly
holy shit this was really cool to see when doing my regular Tumblr check in. really love how Vee looks in your style (your style is like a flavour of cartoony eye candy and I'm all here for it), and drawing her next to Spamton is really cool. wonder what they'd yap about together...

Getting around to finally introducing the first of the DeltaRoads AU Archangels. Meet Ralseyn, who is this AU's equivalent to Ralsei! I was aiming for a papery style for Ralseyn, hence the texture and outline. Complimentary info blurb + story ramblings will be below the image for those interested
'The incarnation of Archives, Ralseyn was born from the dedication to preserving knowledge and writings of all kinds both good and bad for the future. His memories are books with varying amounts of chapters, with the tale of how to escape New Wirral being one of many.'
The catalyst of the New Wirral adventure, Ralseyn fills in the role Morgante has in canon. Even suffering a similar fate where they're found on the verge of 'death'. However, not only does Ralseyn speak of a way out of New Wirral, but he also speaks of a prophecy he was so desperate to get out early. One of a hero stringing together the threads of other worlds, uniting to take down a growing force known as "The Ravaging Darkness". Unsure of what this prophecy means, Vee pushes it aside and keeps note on the poem to freedom. Little do they know, this venture is what brings the prophecy to fruition...

This is how Ralseyn looked prior to the events of DeltaRoads
The ribbons always have some sort of symbols on them, showing the same on both sides; each ribbon reflects some of the many memories in Ralseyn's mental vault. Though these symbols don't always seem to make the most sense, there is meaning for them when strung together.
Now, after being broken, so much of the ribbons were torn off that it can no longer display anything. This broken state is how he's first seen at the beginning of DeltaRoads. The one which spouts about a prophecy and initiates a battle.
After such a rough time and being spared during combat, Ralseyn accompanies Vee on their journey. Despite only being able to be percieved by Vee (since, through some odd means, Ral latched onto Vee's mind), their form isn't like how it used to be. It's a strange in between with a more simpler take on the injuries sustained. Ralseyn acts as a second voice when it comes to most things Vee acts on, no matter how minute.

Also some Ralseyn doodles, though he's in a more approachable form known simply as a "shell" (I'll talk more about this in a later post, especially since it becomes important to the plot line for one of the DeltaRoads Archangels)
This AU is chewing on my brain so there's plenty of thoughts I have about it, though I'm slowly sharing content regarding it since I'm rather new to doing this kind of thing <:p
