I've been ITCHING to draw your Vee since I saw them, so I finally did it! I don't know much about Cassette Beasts other than the fact that it's like Pokemon, but I like your AU!

Would DeltaRoad Tenna be scared of anime? What's his opinion on anime and "owo" (said outloud)
If he ever encountered an anime character hypothetically-- would bro cringe?
I don't think he'd be scared of it overall (Anime is amongst the countless things that make up entertainment, and why would you be afraid of a part of what you embody as an entity), but there would probably be some elements of it that can get a reaction from him. Such as if it hits too close to home in an uncomfortable way. So he probably has an opinion that leans more towards intrigue and joy than anything else (he is a very curious bug if Imma be fully honest).
As for someone going "owo", Tenna wouldn't have much of a reaction. Maybe a subtle movement of his antennae and a small head tilt. Nothing too grand in the way of a reaction. If he met an anime character though, he probably wouldn't cringe. But instead treat them in a similar way he would to any visitor of his domain: With a warm smile and a joyous show host vibe. Though you could get a different reaction depending on what anime character you threw at him (e.g. you could get him to act more tense (he'd try to hide it, but his body language and antennae bulbs would betray him) if you found someone that reminded him too much of Epiardo; the pair do not have the best dynamic afterall). Idk any specific anime character I could mention as an example of such since I don't really watch it...
i've got a handful of Tennas tehee. Though I do have an idea on how some of them would react.
ESPECIALLY my main son Tennaryox (or DeltaRoads Tenna as I would say prior to the name drop). He's very intrigued by the weird, and is especially attracted to learning more about Tennas with peculiar quirks (whether it's because of some monstrous qualities they have or the situation being so out there they seem like a high contrast compared to other Tennas). It's kinda why I personally see him as being besties with another one of my Tennas (Sapphire, aka the spider one lol). Though he is always up for interacting regardless. He's like a curious puppy when it comes to meeting new Tennas.
But in general, I like to think the DeltaRoads Archangels are naturally attracted to the weird because of their existence. Tennaryox is just the most notable since he is more likely to be seen outside of New Wirral via dimension hopping stuff they can do.
As for the other Tennas I got, I have a few words on em (putting it under the cut cause this post is gonna get fairly long I think)
Sapphire and Arc would approach with curiosity too. Though Sapphire's would be moreso the kind a predator would have when stalking prey (but without any ill will, for the most part) and Arc is just excited to learn more about other places beyond the arcade. Sapphire would probably be more calculating and careful with his words when with other Tennas, whilst Arc just says stuff because homie has no filter and is a bit of a dumbass. Similar reactions separate approaches y'know.
Adtonio (AddiTenna) would be estatic. Like "holy shit I'm related to other CRTs across other timelines??? Fuck yeah." Dude is in deep denial about being an Addison woop, so seeing the TV Tennas makes that bit of him spark with joy. Though he would be hesitant around any other Addison Tennas if they crossed paths. Hell, even swap Spamtons that still look like his Addison self will get the side eye. Just, do not let AddiTenna near any Addison for everyone's sake... he'd probably throw a fit if left for too long.
Antonio (SPM-1997) would be rightfully confused. Though would also have so many questions to try and then share about the existence of alternate worlds on his lil podcast thingy. Bro is just a human, wouldn't you also have a similar reaction if you learned you are inhuman in other worlds?
Lastly for this yap is that swap Tenna I got (I like to call him Umbra because of the AU name). He would try to get whatever he can from other Tennas to reignite that shining spark he lost oh so long ago. tryna play it off cool before going a bit manic and with a plan held together with tape and a few strands of wet pasta. but afterwards he would just try to get some sort of connection going.

I guess there is like. a few lil tidbits I can share with thee that aren't really big lore spoilers, so I'll do a lil dump on that <:3c
Like I finally figured out the full lineup of the AUs companion/main cast who Vee befriends throughout their journey (the others are here as a refresher; I gotta make a better version of this post tbh with EVERYONE in it). Which was me finally mustering up the courage to throw this bluebird headass into the squad eheh...
Took me a while to figure out how to draw Berdley in a stylized way, but I'm quite happy with where I landed. Been wanting to draw him for ages too. Homie is lowkey bluejay coded bird wise for me, so I did have that in mind for the body (especially with the feet and having 2 toes foward and 2 back). Fucker takes the spot of Felix when you look at the Cassette Beasts companion lineup. However, I need to figure out how I want the plot bit to play out where Vee warms up to Berdley. This plot bit involves me doing some story beat tweaking and have Berdley be the one that leads Vee to Queen. Saying this as in Cassette Beasts, Felix is 1 of 2 main story companions whose quests don't end in a direct Archangel encounter (the other being Barkley). And there are a few other lil variables that have me thinking this would be better suited (this will make sense when I delve further into other character stuff; don't wanna make this post too long ough)
Though for another bit of DeltaRoads stuff, there's like 5 characters I'm yet to really share publically who are of decent plot relevance, yet I am very excited to share with in full when I find an appropriate time for it. But I can say some stuff about each as a teaser of sorts:
I plan to tease one of them through a comic I may get out within the next few weeks (gonna be free from study hell for the year very soon so lotsa time to make DeltaRoads stuff over the Summer yay!!!). I have the rough script written up. This character is also going to be filling in a main cast slot I haven't really talked about at all due to the nature of it... all Imma say is if you know the full line up of the Cassette Beasts companion, you may know who I am yet to utter the name of with whose spot hasn't been filled yet <:3c
The other 4 characters are like, apart of my plan on how I plan to implement an equivalent to the Shadow Crystal bosses into the AU. Almost all slots are gonna be filled in by borderline OCs due to variables of my planning for the AU. BUT, I do want to keep the essence of the peculiar group to the best of my ability. These freaks are roughly designed for the most part + I have ideas on how they weave into the story (an overall theme for each does help with this). Might actually reveal them through comics tbh. That just sounds like a fun way to do such...
There's also just been. a lot of doodling I've done regarding DeltaRoads and a few AU spin off ideas that I gotta do a post or two with to show y'all. Some are for funsies, while a few may be exploring some more story kinda stuff. Only a few mutuals on a discord server have seen em.
Other than that, there isn't really much more to share for now I guess? Atleast the bits I feel like sharing rn. Still tryna iron out various kinks in the AU story and have specific story beats laid out. Problem with how wild the story itself is that plot points can happen in any order. I like to see DeltaRoads as an AU with the pick your order type of feel that Cassette Beasts has, which makes things extremely weird lol. But I'm having fun, and this is my mash up of interests in AU form so I get to decide how the ball rolls here RAHHH

The story of DeltaRoads has the canon archangels and their plot placements filled in by a fairly important character in Deltarune instead (the only one I've publicly shared so far is Morgante being replaced by Ralsei, to give an example of what I mean), so Aleph and the others don't really remain in the AU. Even the archangel themes are changed for most of the swap ins. However, I do have a character in the equivalent of Aleph's role for the AU (one I am pretty excited to share when I can find the time to nonetheless)
