I just got a new phone, so I actually got a new background for the first time in years. It used to be fanart from Love between fairy and devil. But since I've been obsessed with Ateez since begin this year now, this seemed like a good time to switch that up!

I unfortunately can't choose a second picture in the setup of this phone, it just makes a swirl of the picture I set on my lockscreen.

And lastly, every year I add my Spotify Wrapped to my combined Wrapped list, where all my Wrapped songs are combined. So that's the playlist I'm listening to the most right now. Which gave me NCT Dream's Drippin' last.

Hey, I'm VeertjeD, an Art History student from the Netherlands. I'm very excited to be included in this zine, since it will be my first! And these drawings will aslo be my first YOI drawings on this scale so I hope you are going to like them. Tbh, I'm glad you cleared that up, because I too was a bit frowny by that ask/text for the fic. Especially because you called it a 'fix-it'. ^_^ But now I understand! :D

Yes!!! What I’m really looking for is the same kind of … emotional tension I guess? Basically John getting caught with his pants down (hey antis just clarifying i do not mean this literally) and finds himself in a situation where Sherlock asks him to admit his feelings. Using the same (or strongly similar at least) dialogue, Sherlock admits he loves John first, and this time he actually means it, and the rest is history. Ideally, they are alone and conversation is private, and John says “I love you” of his own free will, with just a bit of encouragement from Sherlock.

The only way I could think of at 1 am to describe that was just “the I Love You scene verbatim except with John”, which inevitably got misinterpreted by antis to mean I’m a raging misogynist and anti-feminist who hates Molly enough to replace her in a fanwork and who excuses emotional manipulation but only when it happens to men.

After you changed the code, you have to toggle the switch yourself back and forth because if you just change the code it doesn't save. I had that problem.

I understand! but it just switches to off automatically and it won’t let me click it back and forth, and when I refresh it’s back to on and unclickable.

Poor Bones oh my god. He would take one look at the medical care back then and just. Die. I mean remember when he was faced with dialysis? he thought that was bad.

I would 100% read that. I love it when the crew is thrown back in time. (Actually on earth, not some weird planet)

I love love time travel! And history. *w* And there’s not many fics that involve them going back any further than like...a couple hundred years. I would be so into something that sent them back into ancient history.

Well, to be fair (?) to them, it did sound a bit like that, but, like, one second on your blog and they would have seen that you probably didn't mean it like that. Personally I thought that you were just interested in how that situation would have gone if it had been John, while knowing perfectly well that it is fucked up. (That's why I didn't like the 'fix-it' you put in the ask.) ^_^

That’s one of my least favorite things about antis, that they’re so willing to take everything they see at face value and not ask me to clarify my meaning/search for context. They’re just so quick to jump down my throat because I tagged it “tjlc”. I posted an update the next morning saying that while I did find some “I Love You scene” fics, none of them were what I was looking for - two of them replace Molly with John, and they all take place within TFP.

But I guess it all boils down to the fact that I shouldn’t be posting at 1am if I don’t want my intentions misinterpreted. :\
