Well we've got Century of Love and Meet Me At The Blossom starting this week and suddenly my on air watchlist has risen to 9. As a confirmed binge watcher I usually stick to one or two so I dunno what happened there.
Anyway Ep 1 of Century of Love and they managed to get Daou shirtless in 7 minutes. Good start. I would have no problem if he just stayed this way for the entire episode (or series) but sadly 'tis not to be. Boo. And man, he could cut glass with that jawline.
We've seen reincarnated, gender-swapped soul mate BL before but this is looking good. I'm assuming we all love Juu right? You tell him girl! PREACH!
Daou playing a grumpy, 100 year old man while looking like, well, Daou is fabulous.
Excellent secret door followed by equally excellent Walk of Destiny by the whole family. I'm surprised they weren't being trailed by a group of curious onlookers. Not gonna lie, I'd have followed even without Daou in the group.
And now we're treated to an excellent meet-cute. I like the balance between the seriously destiny stuff and the comedy (thank you Juu and Tao).
Vee's a sassy queen - he needs to get together with Juu and fight crime.
RED THREAD ALERT! C'mon San. The goddess is throwing clues at you. It's meant to be.
You just know she made the ring bounce under the furniture so San would have a chance to see Vee's butt. And when you see him shirtless you'll realise he's the whole package.
And suddenly I thought that we'd gone from 1 to 10 in the first ep but it was a dream dammit. Good dream though. Nice attention to detail.
Yup, you poor old man, you're going to have to get up to speed on the 21st century gay scene pretty damn quickly. I recommend watching some BLs.
I bloody loved this - a great start. And ep 2 tomorrow!
