This post is going up much later than I had intended, but here are some highlights of my first week of the slow transition to meat-free eating!

Bruh I just got so much produce for 7 dollars.
i was reading a piece of writing about love that a local artist had written, the one part talked about how your heart is a terrible thing - it's unruly, irrational, and anarchic. and the one line really stood out to me:
"sorry vegetarians, your heart is a carnivore"
and i dunno if it's just because i'm a vegetarian so i'm predisposed to perk up whenever it's mentioned, but that line just kind of popped at me, and his message suddenly made sense. your heart is a carnivore.
Ew my mom bought chicken for dinner so I felt obligated to eat it and ew ew ew
