I really want people to consider what I am about to say and think about it objectively. A lot of people consider themselves indifferent on the subject of animal rights. But actually, if you’re not vegan, you pay for animals to be killed. You have a choice one way or the other. You can be indifferent as a child, because you don’t really understand what is happening. But as an adult, you’re not simply apathetic as a non-vegan. You are choosing to have animals killed when you know it’s 100% unnecessary. That’s not indifference. Indifference would be walking by when you see someone kick a dog. Non-veganism is paying someone to do it for you. indifference to animal abuse surely is not something to wear as a badge in the first place. But support of animal abuse? Come on now. When you have the choice to be non-violent, it’s not just indifferent to specifically choose violence. If you’re not sure what you’d eat as a vegan or think it would be too hard, there are so many people doing it already who would love to help you. I’m not saying this as an attack on people, I am saying this on behalf of the animals who are being killed, who are defenceless.
