Rachel Lynn is an NYC based, classically-trained vocalist whose original soulful pop music is entwined with her signature evocative lyrics. Music was always a major part of Rachel's life. Coming from a very musical family, she always knew she wanted to be a singer. She has memories of singing 60's pop songs with her dad in the car, listening to her mom and uncle play piano and flute duets in her family living room. Her mother helped to foster her love of singing, and at 12 years old, she began writing her own songs. Rachel became vegan on October 3, 2011. It was a gradual process for her, just as it was for most of us. It was the usual "I could never do that!" To which she quickly realized that the best way for her to live out her ethics was to become vegan. Rachel donated proceeds from her single "Seeing Red" to Mercy for animals! She is always eager to jump at the chance to perform at fundraisers and events that support animals and rescue work to help support animal rights. Rachel will be performing at Union Square following the parade!
