Fun fact: I used to sell wedding dresses and I still have a soft spot for the industry. Other fun fact: I binge watched The Crown this winter and have now acquired a semi-fascination with the royal family and the history that surround them. What a complicated legacy! So in honor of the royal wedding this weekend, I made a classic British tea cake sans eggs and dairy of course and with the addition of matcha green tea (for the fabulous color).
