Enjoy these delicious BBQ tofu wings paired with creamy vegan ranch dressing for a flavorful and satisfying meal. Perfect for Veganuary or any time you're craving a plant-based twist on classic comfort food.
Ingredients: 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and drained. 1/2 cup BBQ sauce. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup vegan mayonnaise. 1/4 cup unsweetened plant-based milk. 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar. 1/2 teaspoon dried dill. 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C. Cut the pressed tofu into cubes or wing-like shapes. In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Coat the tofu pieces with the BBQ sauce mixture and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes. Place the marinated tofu on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. While the tofu is baking, prepare the ranch dressing by mixing vegan mayonnaise, plant-based milk, apple cider vinegar, dried dill, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth and well combined. Once the tofu is done, serve hot with the ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
