This Air Fryer Creamy Tomato Bisque is a quick and easy way to make a rich and comforting tomato soup. The Air Fryer adds a depth of flavor by roasting the vegetables, making this bisque irresistibly delicious.
Ingredients: 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes. 1/2 cup diced onion. 1/4 cup diced celery. 1/4 cup diced carrot. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 cups vegetable broth. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon dried basil. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your Air Fryer to 350F 175C. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced onion, celery, carrot, and minced garlic. Toss the vegetable mixture with olive oil, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Place the seasoned vegetables in the Air Fryer basket and air fry at 350F 175C for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they become tender and slightly browned. Remove the vegetables from the Air Fryer and transfer them to a blender. Add the crushed tomatoes and blend until smooth. Pour the blended tomato mixture into the Air Fryer and add the vegetable broth. Stir to combine. Air fry at 350F 175C for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the heavy cream and air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve the creamy tomato bisque hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves. Enjoy!
