i typed these up for my friends, but i guess some folks here would be interested in these too. 

NOTE: i skipped a lot of questions, and while i tried to make these as verbatim as possible, i also kinda rushed them so there will be a fair amount of mistakes...

Q: if you were a gem, what diamond would you follow? 

Sugar: probably a blue diamond gem. they tend to be diplomats/intellectuals, but they're also cold which isn't really right. i don't know if i can answer this without going into spoilers but i'll probably be in pink's court. or somewhere in between

Q: does Pumpkin need to eat or sleep? (which kinda also extends to the Watermelon people) 

Sugar: Pumpkin doesn't really need to eat, but he does sleep. I don't know why that's true. I guess Pumpkin gets nutrients from light even if he's not on the vine. But you know that's a thing about Steven's magic, it gives people extended life. that's true for those plants as well

Q: Are the Zircons okay? 

Sugar: that's a yes and no. they're poofed. they're not shattered, but they're certainly not not in trouble, but they're not shattered

Q: Do gems that have their gems over their eye have any sight impairments? 

Sugar: I think that could affect their depth perception, but I don't think gems would function the same way humans do. I think, if anything, they might even have some sort of enhanced sight. Like your gem placement has a lot to do with you as a person. I mean like, even Eyeball was always scrutinizing everything. Then I suppose other senses could be heightened, but that's very human. Gems are different. I think they work differently. 

MKAtwood: Does that mean Jasper has a really good sense of smell? 

Sugar: Oh that, I don't know. Maybe not. That was sorta just a simple like "hardnosed" thought, y'know like as a way a person can be

Q: Is it possible for a non-fusion gem to have the same gem type as a fusion? Like is there a way to have a Garnet that is just one gem? 

Sugar: Absolutely! Absolutely possible. 

MK: Ooooh!  Interesting. 

Sugar: They wouldn't be the same though. 

MK: Oh, they would look different? 

Sugar: Than the fusion type? Absolutely. They would be something else. 

MK: Ohhh. And they probably wouldn't be like giant or anything? 

Sugar: That would depend.
