Graffiti of Thanasis Veggos/Patra, Greece Thanasis Veggos was a real talented and passionate actor that lived in Greece and died at the age of 83 in 2011. I remember movies that he made me laugh with his pure and simple humor. Everyone that knew him used to say that he was a kind and good person, humble and full of love. It is great to see such a piece of art devoted to him and I thank those that made it. It is really amazing. Before he died he said these words that were drawn into my mind since the first time I read them.. “I had to grow old, son, to learn what happiness really is. Happiness is a pair of hands, two hands… Those that will hug you, will hold you, will put you to sleep, will take good care of you, will cook for you, will fondle you and in the end will close your eyes… Many hands will wear you down. Waste of time… You will see it by yourself as you grow up…”
