Vegan/Vegintarians
Let me tell you something, check your privileges. Some people don’t even know what a vegetable looks like. Shoot, there are people in the Southeastern part of the U.S. who think that mashed potatoes & gravy and macaroni & cheese count as veggies.

People have NO CLUE How Meat eaters are destroying our Planet Earth
Meat consumption is devastating some of the world’s most valuable and vulnerable regions, due to the vast amount of land needed to produce animal feed, a report has warned. The growing popularity of a Western diet, which contains high levels of meat and dairy, means an area 1.5 times the size of the European Union would be saved if global consumption of animal products was reduced to meet…

#hardrockcafe is so cool, I really must visit more of them in the future. They are pretty accommodating to #vegitarians as well, so that makes it extra great! #bjd #balljointeddoll #doll #minifee #hardrock #gdańsk #abjd #Lucywen #lucywenelf (at Gdansk, Poland)

Make a cheerleader outfit entirely out of vegetables, including pom-poms, and cheer for a garden or for the produce in the produce section of a supermarket. - Dean K.

Warning: Rant. About Preachy Vegan/Vego Men.
I am so damn sick of these guys (yes trans guys on T plus cis dudes) with all their testosterone and not-menstruation (or infrequent or super light menstruation?) trying to guilt trip me for eating meat. I have tried, three times now to go vego, legitimately tried to commit, but my body just can’t cut it. It doesn’t matter how many iron pills I skoff or how much spinach or broccoli or beans I eat, I get lethargic, run down, I can’t get out of the bed in the morning, I certainly don’t have the energy to work. After about a month I can feel the depression creeping in, and then I get the hell off the bandwagon. Because my mental and physical health is more important. I eat free range, I eat organic, I eat local. I limit my dairy intake and buy products that haven’t been flown across the world. But I need meat to function. So just stop your horrible guilt-trip preaches. Fucking stop it and check your testosterone privilege, check your non-menstruation privilege, and realise that if you had to live in my body you wouldn’t be so quick to try and make me feel like a horrible human being for looking after myself. Just stop. NB: Yes I know there are people with a lower T count and who do menstruate who are vego and vegan. Firstly I never hear them get preachy, it’s like they do understand the toll it can take on your body and don’t want to pressure other people into that. Also secondly, and yes this is a physical exertion thing, all the vego/vegan non-male people I know have desk jobs, or jobs which require very light physical activity. I work as a Camera Assistant in the film industry and I don’t know if you’ve ever worked a 60 hour week carrying heavy electronics and tripods around but it is rough, it is hard, and it is taxing. I don’t feel like someone can honestly guilt trip meat-eaters and simultaneously complain about the tiny percentage of female cinematographers (3%) in Hollywood. You can’t expect people to be able to do both. Guys have tried to argue with me, “oh but Rhinos and Gorillas are super strong and they don’t eat meat.” Firstly, I am not a bloody Rhinoceros. Secondly, they spend like 16 hours a day just eating! Of course they’re built like tanks. I do have other things to do with my life. Not to finally mention, and I think this point has been touched on many times before, how classist preachy vegetarianism is. If you’re below the poverty line, especially if you have children to feed or rely on food banks or homeless shelters to provide meals, you cannot be picky about what food you consume. </rant>
