Concept art of additional EarthSpark villains. Reptilion’s group are rabble rousing Decepticons who enjoy a little mayhem despite trying to survive and avoid capture by Mandroid or GHOST. Most of their schemes are petty robbery, vandalism (mostly on Mohawk and Iguanus’ part), and sticking it to Megatron for abandoning the cause, though Megatron and Termagax mostly wonder why two renowned Cybertronian scientists are content to waste time in buffoonery. Not super sure if Mohawk will be part of the group, I just wound up doodling him in because I didn’t want to waste the page space. This unit is the rival team to Phoenix’s Terrans, but they’re more then happy to mess with Twitch’s siblings also. Reptilion is an old scientist who doesn’t really get Earth, and finds their backward science appalling. He indulges his niece Iguanus’ mischief on Earth out of spite against Megatron who left them trapped here. Brushguard on the other hand is more interested in Earth, mostly its entertainment and plant life. He loves Earth movies, especially B-Movies and Blockbusters, and finds plant life’s tenacity intriguing, weaponizing it to fight against GHOST and Autobots. Heavywait is the muscle, happy to push her wait, uh, weight around on Earth’s fragile cities compared to Cybertron’s. Iguanus and Mohawk are the trouble making teens, similar to Frenzy, just happy to be involved.
WildWheel’s unit is a team of Mercenaries hired by a third party to apprehend the Earthbound Transformers, chiefly Optimus and Megatron, but the deal is changed when the Terrans and Emberstone are discovered. The group is similar to AoE Lockdown’s team, being a mostly no nonsense unit who get the job done and on time for the right pay. Young, hardbodied RoughEdge is the more green one, still learning the ropes, with Shadow Raider being the experienced young one but often overlooked despite his skill and cloaking abilities. A running gag is WildWheel can’t seem to remember SR’s name, and often mistakenly calls him War Planets to SR’s annoyance. WildWheel and RoughEdge used to be Autobots while Shadow Raider was a Decepticon, and as such WildWheel abides by certain rules while Shadow Raider has no such rules and does whatever it takes to get their quarry. WolfWire commands fellow IronWolves to sniff out particularly troublesome prey, and is usually in Shadow Raider’s company. WildWheel’s benefactors would turn out being the Quintessons, who became interested in Earth because of Transformer activity on the planet.
