I just know in my heart that Megs has a bunch of pictures and videos of Optimus. Will he admit it? No way, he has a reputation after all. So those photos and videos are for his optics and his optics alone.

The way I screamed when I read this--

Imagine an entire chapter dedicated solely to Megatron gradually losing his mind as his processor automatically starts capturing photos and videos of cute Optimus getting into little shenanigans. After a while, he just lets out a heavy sigh and gives up, no longer even bothering to delete the blurry shots or duplicates. He just creates a separate folder to dump the ever-growing collection into (obviously pinned to quick access by pure accident).

But then he runs into another, arguably even bigger, problem: his reputation. Others start noticing him lingering just a little too long with his optics fixed on the youngster, oddly similar to the way a mech looks when they're recording something...

Sweet AllSpark, just don't let it be Starscream. By any means necessary. Otherwise, Megatron might have to start looking for a new Second-in-Command and somehow dispose of a grey frame unnoticed.

Thankfully, no one but the seeker would even entertain such an absurdly sweet idea. He's the warlord of the Hadeen System, for Pit's sake. Don't be ridiculous.

But of course, Megatron had very explicitly ordered everyone not to record the little one except for medical studies and reports on Optimus's state. They're not the ones who have to endure the little menace's constant attention practically 24/7.

He deserves some reward for putting up with that, doesn't he?

...And besides, those recordings are for him only.

OOOOOOO HOW ABOUT BABY OP WOTH LUGNUT?! I just know he loves the baby a lot!

And has Strika already met the baby?

Lugnut & Child Optimus

I actually planned to make Lugnut & Optimus interacting just before you asked!!

Lugnut is like an auntie who loves the little bitty bit impossibly much. He's actually the first Decepticon to completely fall in love with Optimus, gladly and loyally taking on the role of his nannybot guard. Lugnut spoils and coddles him endlessly, more often than not practically strangling Optimus with affection. Ironically enough, he shocks every other 'Con around whenever they see him — one of the biggest, most fearsome war machines — being so unbelievably gentle and delicate with something as fragile and unpredictable as a sparkling.

Optimus maaay take advantage of this super-loving giant every now and then, especially when planning to run away or get something that's otherwise not permitted. What can Lugnut say? The sweet child takes a lot after his father Great Lord.

Optimus will meet more Decepticons as his journey continues, especially after he starts spending time with Strika and the rest of Team Chaar. The General of Destruction ends up caring for OP just as much as Lugnut does, though it takes her quite a while to come around. I can just imagine the look on her faceplates when, after not seeing the rest of the High Command for years, she finally reunites with them back home only to find them completely occupied with fussing over and smothering some tiny... Autobot? Mini-Con? Scraplet??

Her mere presence is enough to intimidate Optimus, as accustomed to living among giant killing machines as he is. But once he realizes she's someone very special to Lugnut, he gradually starts relaxing around her.

One of Lugnut's greatest dreams, and fears, is for Optimus to love his dear consort and see her as the magnificent, steadfast spark that she is. Lugnut and Strika would absolutely be the first couple to become parents once the Decepticons finally figure out this whole sparkling mess. I'm just not sure whether they'd stop after their eighth child.

Hello, I’m came here to tell you that my mom died from cancer and and I could go for child Optimus prime and got a lot of kisses from Megatron and blitzswing

I truly am sorry for your lossm, dear asker; I can't imagine the pain and hurt you're going through. I just hope my efforts can make your burdens at least a little lighter ❤️❤️

Just how much “baby” was Optimus born as?

Cause it would be hilarious to imagine the big bad Decepticons learning how to properly hold a newborn and how to give him his bottle of sparkling-energon

That would be so awesome, you're right! But by the time they find Optimus, he's already an equivalent to a 8-12 year old; still a little child needing to be taken proper care, but already smart enough to somewhat understand a threat, have existential dread, and become a constant nuisance to Decepticons by constantly managing to escape them somehow like a roach.

Also, he bites. A lot. His baby canines are growing stronger alloy plating beneath them, making his gums constantly itchy and sore from the old alloy plating falling off. No one realizes that's the reason behind it yet, so they just end up getting increasingly grumpy about his biting habits.
