That ask you got where someone said "Lakshmi is North Indian and misogynystic" had me assuming it was a Dravidian church talking point but I read it again and you said leftists in WB were the ones saying it.

Yess I loved your tags. I wish I could reblog your tags. Bengali subnationalists try to mimic the dravidar kazhagam a lot. Indian leftists in general, regardless of the region, are all rooted to colonial consciousness.
About Dravidian church, I have a post in my drafts about Paravars and Velankanni. Researching a bit more because it's hard to find material. I heard that the real Velankanni is Skanda's mother.
