Paintings of pastoral artists in Belgrade
The exhibition of paintings “Artists from Paštrović to Belgrade” will be opened today in the Library of the City of Belgrade, at 6 pm, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Association of Paštrović and Friends of Paštrović in Belgrade “Fine Sand”. The exhibition is part of the traditional manifestation “Ljubisa’s Days”, which this year marks the 200th anniversary of his birth Stefan Mitrov Ljubisaand will be open until March 24, 2022.The program is divided into two segments, and the first includes a scientific conference on the work of Stefan Mitrov Ljubisa and the opening of an exhibition of pastoral painters. “The first part of the program will be opened by a cellist Dušan Stojanović with a violist Ivana Gladović Erčić, who will perform musical compositions by the composer at the opening of the meeting between lectures Branko Zenović inspired by pastoral melody “, it was announced in the announcement. Lectures at the literary gathering will be held by: academician Radomir V. Ivanovic, dr Mila Medigović Stefanović, dr Zoran Zivkovic and others Ana M. Zečević. This is followed by the opening of an exhibition of four pastoral artists: Sava Pavlović with watercolors from the cycle “Olive in my eye”, oil on canvas Veljko Buća Mitrović, oils on canvas Niko Kaladjurdjevic and mosaics Jovana Pake Kentere. Each of the mentioned artists will exhibit five of their works. The second part of the program begins with a program prepared by members of the Ethno Ensemble “Kult”, which will perform two pastoral songs, as well as one Budva and Grbalj, and which were recorded Franjo Kuhač and ethnomusicologist dr Zlata Marjanović. The exhibition will be opened by art historian mr Lucija Đurašković who is also the director of the Public Institution “Museums and Galleries of Budva”. The exhibition is realized in cooperation with the Library of the City of Belgrade and the Public Institution “Museums and Galleries of Budva.
