212 hours in the saddle
111 litres of Torq energy consumed
31 hours of sports massage and physiotherapy
6kg of weight lost
2 occasions of being chased by animals

Following the world record attempt, Velo7 are working with a major UK broadcaster on the Race Across Europe documentary, due to be aired in 2015. The whole event was filmed by two members of the Velo7 team who are now working to produce a gritty yet comical reflection of the difficulties and triumphs involved in the challenge.
Commenting on the future for Velo7, James said: ‘I would love to give other students the opportunity to experience what we did. It taught us a lot. We had to come up with the concept, develop our strategy and source corporate support, before delivering on a massive promise. To have done that successfully and with my mates is just awesome.’
After receiving official recognition from Guinness we can safely say posts regarding the world record attempt will now come to a halt. However, stay tuned for news regarding the documentary, future initiatives carried out by other students and Velo7 product launches.’
