“Oh, the rules are real simple!” Kay grins. It’s not often she finds a playmate her own age, especially one who takes so quickly to her style of mischief. She’d been out picking flowers, but those are quickly placed in her bag at the mention of playing a new game.

“When it’s your turn, you ask the other person Truth or Dare. If they say truth, you ask ‘em any question you want! If they say dare, you can make them do something funny.” Sophie had taught her this game-- the first time she’d played, she’d had to sneak a kick me sign on the captain’s back. Looking back, it was pretty funny.

“So... truth or dare?”

It’s similar. Very similar. There’s no anger behind this small child’s tone. “Is game a fun thing?” He asks, a little too cautiously.
