Another design, but with Vendel! I was inspired by a puma with albinism to draw this one (Oh, he also lost color due to age), although its beard could be mistaken for a lion's mane, but that's not the case!
A puma wearing pants would look weird, so I turned it into a mini coat, along with the crystals that hung from the belt. Now her staff is a large, sparkling piece of the Heart Stone that hangs like a large necklace.
You know I've always wondered why all of the Trollmarket trolls look different from one another. Like, there aren't any trolls who look the same at all. For instance, the Kubera all look the same because they're the same species of trolls, same with the trolls from Gatto's keep. So did the Wumpa tribe.
Theory 1: The Trollmarket Trolls in Arcadia were a big group of several different tribes back during the war with the Gumm-Gumms in Europe. After the Battle of Killahead Bridge, they just decided to stick together and follow Vendel as their Leader to find a new Hearthstone in America.
Theory 2: Trollmarket is well, a market. So there must be some permanent residents or some temporary guests that came to the market to buy stuff for spells, potions, etc...so a lot of different kinds of trolls just come and go in and out of the market as they please. There are hotels for the visitors to stay for a while, but there are more visiting trolls than permanent resident trolls.
Was vendel alive when usurna said not to rely on the amulet and let trollkind decide whether they win against gunmar? Because I thought only Eclipse could defeat gunmar and vendel knows that? Of course Usurna wants gunmar to take over so no wonder but if Vendel was there shouldn't he dispute it?
