Seriously! TToTT I do love summer and normally, preventative meds are enough to deal with my allergies (since they're so specific to being near the beach), but not last week. :'l Sorry yours are being awful too, hopefully the rest of the summer isn't as bad. :c 14. Somebody wants to get in touch with your character. What’s the best way to do that? (You can answer for people who know them or people who don’t, or both.)

If you don't know Vendetta already, gooooooood luck. Absolute master at ignoring people ne doesn't want to talk with and doesn't feel beholden to, lol. Your best bet is hitting up someone ne already knows and arrange an ambush a get-together. Phone calls or texts are just getting blocked and deleted like you're a scammer pushing the latest gift card refund scam.

(Or, you know, send a pretty invite card with a subtle threat~ That will also get Ven's attention pretty fast, Hollow Ground lucked out with that one.)

If you do know Ven, ehh. Just pester nem a lot, lol. Ne is attached to nir friends and does loves talking and hanging, as much as ne might complain in the process. A call or a text (or three) is gonna get nem sighing but replying as soon as ne sees it. This is how Ortega keeps successfully wiggling herself into Ven's life, despite all the alarm bells ringing constantly. Ne does crave connection too much…

15. Your character is eating a snack. Do they make it last, or do they wolf the whole thing down immediately?

Mhmmm… Both? It depends on where ne is eating. Vendetta's appetite at home has never been huge, so ne likes just grazing and picking at stuff throughout the day. Lots of little snacks and candy dishes in that apartment so ne can grab things without worrying too much. Ne definitely hits the 'forgets to eat' potion of ADHD Real Hard, so that helps ease the 'oops it's 10pm and I haven't eaten today' stomach pains. A bit.

When ne is out and about though? Wolf it down!! Ne doesn't want to hold that shit for more than ne has too and it's probably a snack ne really wanted too. It'll be gone in like two bites, lol.

It's a good 7 out of 10, mostly due to Farm training. c: Vendetta's handler preferred Vendetta looking cute and girly, so ne definitely knows the art of applying and using make-up from her. But ne doesn't enjoy wearing it nemself unless ne's in a weird funky-fancy mood, and feels it's a bit of waste of money. There's better things, in nir opinion~ Nir skills get used on nir puppet Deja though. She has a lovely make-up collection and rocks very darling looks whenever she goes out.

🌷 - taking care of living things

Haha! No, 4 out of 10 at best. Like Vendetta could be pretty okay at it. Ne isn't stupid and definitely has a lot of empathy for things. But that's nir downfall. Ne is gonna panic and overthink and have a near breakdown taking care of most things because ne cares way too much at nir core, and wants to love things. Plants are getting overloved and overwatered. Pets will fare fine, but ne won't. Ne is having full blown panic attacks whenever something goes wrong, but god forbid, ne snaps at them in a moment of frustration and spirals intensely because Ne Is The Worst! Kids are even worse, as ne is far too aware of how fragile they are and how easily it would be to hit them. Plus, the telepathic bullshit involved with babies and small toddlers? No. Bad times.

If you tricked Vendetta into taking care of something, ne will be good at it. Just look at Rat King and Deja. But as soon as someone phrase it as 'taking care of', ne will lose nir mind in overthinking. ^^;;

💃 - Dancing: Vendetta

9+ out of 10!! Ven loves to dance! TToTT <33 When ne first escaped from the Farm, ne took up dancing and gymnastics to help build up nir strength and mobility, and ne loved trying to learn ballet from watching videos and reading books on it. Ne has a great natural rhythm too and it never takes nem long to pick up new styles. Like, let nem dance. Ne loves to dance as much as ne likes to sing~ ;;__;; <333

🎭 - Perfomance Act/Acting: Daed

Ohhh!! Mhm, depends. Actual performing and acting like in something, a play or movie, Daed is pretty decent. He has enough natural charm and ease to get into a role, but he won't take it very seriously so it's not going to be an amazing performance. 7 out of 10.

On the flip side, he absolutely excels at playing the lovable fool in his everyday life to get people to lower their guards around him~ I said it before, but his parents were con-artists turned cult leaders (sometimes you see a group of very targetable people and just kinda take over a cult~), and Daed definitely learned from the best on how to put people at ease and then manipulate said people too, which can be its own form of acting? Like a conductor leading a choir, a puppetmaster staging a play~

Thank God Daed is so deadset of being nothing like his folks or else he'd be an absolute monster~

Heya! And okay, a bit of a lonely weekend but I might get to see some seals this week so I'm excited for that. ^^! And the skills are from this list too~

💣 — explosives: ven

The fact Ven got this twice amuses me to no end, lol. Ah? I wouldn't bet on Vendetta with explosives. There's a lot that could go wrong and going wrong means probably losing limbs. Vendetta likes nir limbs. :'l 4 out 10. Definitely could manage an average or slightly better, but ne overthinks too much and something in that explosive is gonna go wrong. The fact the Museum went off as well as it did was all Dr. Mortum, let's be real.

🔫 — long range weapons: jayne

If FHR allowed sniper rifles, Jayne would have a sniper rifle. Long range weapons is so much more him, it's absurd. TToTT He'd be so much more comfortable being The Crack type of villain than what he is now. Actual skill level though? Eh. Needs practice, but he's definitely has some natural talent for aiming and ranged weapons~ Frustration will not kill the efforts here~ 6 out of 10, and will go up fast with practice.

🍀 — luck: lulu

Oh, this one is tough. I feel like Lulu has the same luck as my Courier Six has, which is as low as possible but it still loops back into performing miracles more than abysmal luck should?? Like, Lulu survived the Nanosurge, and Catfiend, and the Void, and Heartbreak, and the Farm. Twice.

But they also had to experience the Nanosurge, and Catfiend, and the Void, and Heartbreak, and the Farm. Twice. And they're currently puppetstuck and righteously pissed about that. Sooooo. Yeah. Generally kinda bad.

👊 — fighting: cope

God, no no no no. Do not bother. Even with the Farm training, they did the bare minimum they could to get by because they weren't built for fighting, no matter of fighting fate is gonna change that. No. Thanks. :'l 6 out of 10, because they do have a good amount of training but Cope has long since learned the odds of talking themselves out of fight are much better than them winning one on their own ...which is a bit biased, they could easily take out your average FEZ citizens. But Cope just don't care to try at all.

🍳 - cooking

They're all garbage at cooking, sorry. ^^;; Ven's too adhd to be trusted making anything longer than three minutes because ne will get bored and wander away and forget ne was making food until ne remembers at the convenience store twenty minutes later and has to rush back to nir apartment in a blind panic. If not for Ortega and diners, ne would've learned to love the taste of charcoal. u_u;

Lulu basically lives off of cereal, granola bars and sandwiches because you don't need a kitchen for them. And no, he doesn't even bother using milk with his cereal. Extra step! Not required! Fuck that noise!

Jayne doesn't have the frustration tolerance for cooking at all. He'll get pissed he failed and never try again. He's rich now. He can order out or hire a damn cook~ :'l!

💣 — explosives

Skipping Vendetta for this because there's another ask with Ven + explosives, lol. Deeply amused by this, by the way.

Haha! Lulu tried to blow up the museum (and I'm pretty sure they succeeded? I have to check their game again), so it ain't nothing. Lulu definitely knows their way around explosives, but at the same time? Unless it's for symbolic demolition, Lulu finds explosives very banal. He'd rather be up in the action than standing to the side and letting explosives to the hard work. 7 out of 10.

Jayne, no no no. Poor, bad. Jayne's too anxious to use explosives. Too many variables to control safely, bad idea, no, he refuses. No out of 10.

⚓️ — sailing

I'm suddenly hit with the thought that Jayne needs a damn yacht. I think a yacht could change Jayne. For the better or the worse, I do not know, but something would change. He doesn't jack about sailing though, lol. 2 out of 10, he'd probs be hit by something (mast, laser via dolphin, bitchy seagull) and fall overboard and drown.

Lulu also knows jack, and would be terrible at it. He's gonna spent the whole time on the deck, sea sick beyond measure. 3 out of 10.

Vendetta! Has! Knowledge! Ne has probably gotten bored and rabbit holed down a sailing book before. Can ne apply said knowledge though? Not at all. 1/10, because dear god, ne would try in a manic state of mind and nothing good would come of it. u_u;

Vendetta's recovery period is going to go so well in Revelations, I have a great feeling about this. :D

Based on this post because 'cool wizard powers' was too brand for Ven for me to resist, lol.
