IT’S SO COLD. The young hylian shivered as he sunk deeper in the snow with every step. The curse of his short stature---he was almost buried up to his shoulders. Not even the feathery warmth of his roc’s cape could curb the numbness that grew in his limbs.
It became a ritual by now to dig himself out of the depths and try making his way further down the mountain. In a few steps, he sunk back to where he started in deep snow. He found some salvation to rest by climbing onto a solid rock ledge that looked over the distance he still had to travel.
It was a long way down. Link bit his lip despairing the thought of walking through all that snow. He shuddered, but stood once more to start the journey. That is, until a gust of wind kicked up behind him, shoving him forward to where he lost his footing. A quick turn over his shoulder and he gasped as a large dragon flew over the mountain tops drawing the wind with it. He set his foot down on a patch of ice which the gusts took full advantage of in pushing the child over the ledge.
A helpless wail echoed throughout the icy canyon. It seems the goddesses answered his prayer for a QUICK way down, but he wasn’t quite ready for the consequence---or the landing.

her head tilts, curious. he looks so familiar, so much like her hero, and yet not quite. the differences were so subtle that she might confidently call him link, and yet she felt so nervous to approach and say hello. because while he might be someone’s link, he was not her own. yet it seemed they might be here, together, for quite a while.
it might be awkward, were she to avoid speaking with him.
“excuse me,” polite in her tone, regal to a fault as she approached, a welcoming smile on her face.
“you are...link, are you not? forgive me, i know this must be presumptuous of me to assume your name, it’s just...” you look like him. “i suppose you have that sort of face.”
A relieved smile paints itself on her features once she was able to spot a certain champion of his H.yrule. “Link,” she called out–– still noting that it felt rather odd to call ‘pon the name of her hero only to have another answer her. “I have been searching for you. There are certain inquiries that I wish to ask of you.”
Certes, ever since her arrival to the tournaments, discombobulation interweaved with her usual desire to comprehend the unknown manifests itself within the regal, divine air that envelope the princess of H.yrule almost constantly. Many new sights were to be seen. New bonds with new people were to be forged. Aye, though she worried for the throne back in the golden lands Z.elda was not at all reluctant to admit that she was rather enjoying her time in the manor. Yet the yearn of seeing her hero would not ebb away and seeing this kindly incarnation of Link had only made her heart sing out to her Link the more they would interact. Nonetheless, she wanted to learn more about his H.yrule more importantly the technology that seemed far more advanced than what her kingdom had to offer.
“Your slate... I believe you call it your Sheikah Slate, yes? I was wondering the functionality of it, how it truly works.”

🍃 ; At the sound of the bell chiming on the town halls door, Isabelle’s hears perked up a little and she looked up to see a stranger enter the building. She gave a smile, happy to have someone else visiting. There was quite a lot of visitors to the town lately, wasn’t there?
‘‘ Hello there! May I be of assistance? ’’
