We had a nice lunch at Blossom. My nephew was adamant that we support our fellow countrymen as he was a bit sadden to see their lovely establishment not teeming with patrons, not as busy like the other cafes.
The highlight for me was the banh xeo (crispy turmeric crepe filled with pork, shrimp and veggies) which we wrap with lettuce leaves and herbs (mint) and cukes. The bo luc lac was a tad too salty and a bit chewy. The bun thit nuong cha gio was pretty tasty - methinks the nuoc cham needs more fish sauce (the restaurant may have lighten the sauce for the more non-VN clientele in comparison to the establishments in little saigon). i was glad that once we sat down, more patrons came.
