One of the most photographed corners of the city of Venezia/Venice. Basically, it’s a “canals fork” with a dwelling just in the middle.

You can also note the poor state of the house, just as most private buildings in Venice. The fact is that the whole city is in a bad state, except the public buildings. That’s one of the reasons why its population is constatly decreasing since the 1950s, and it’s now about only 50,000 permanent residents.

Funny fact: the building’s wooden protections are necessary to avoid collisions with some motorboats.
