Steve didn't really expect to have such a friendly, casual relationship with Eddie —and Venom— when they first met. It just kinda happened, talking and getting close. And then they had sex for the first time. That was... it was an experience was was it was.

But the moments after were almost as good as the sex itself, maybe even better. Eddie was actually very loving and sweet when he wasn't turning into a big alien monster thing. And Venom itself? Also kind of a sweetie! Who would have known?

"Sometimes I think you invite me over here for a dinner buddy more than someone to have sex with," Steve chuckles, turning on his side to face his ruggedly handsome paramour. "Does Venom like cuddling too?"

ext. new york streets. night.

it was the oddest thing really for him ...           because his spider-senses felt nothing. now, don't get him wrong! he likes it when the spidey sense feels nothing-- because nothing means safety. nothing means peace. nothing means he can get to relax until something happens.

but even though the spider sense is not feeling anything, every other part of his body is telling him there is something. right out here in the dark alley ways of new york. his natural senses are not as enhanced as his spider-senses, but he would be an idiot to not listen to it.

and so he did. carefully.

"   hello?   "    he says, his voice barely echoing back due to the sound of the traffic still alive around them. but if his senses are not failing him, then it's here ... whatever it is. it was close. and he was just about to drop to the ground when the feeling finally became something.

something that felt like a claw, warm and solid, that hit him on the side. hard, enough to knock his breath out and send him tumbling. didn't even get a chance to yelp in surprise.
