Why she was called in to work with another dinosaur was beyond her. Sure, she was good with Rexy, but that didn’t mean the Dilophosaurus. It didn’t bother her though. Not really. She knew that the creature wouldn’t be treated with respect if she wasn’t there. Most of the morons here didn’t know how to treat these beautiful creatures as anything more than a meal ticket. It wasn’t right.
She heard the growling, hissing and struggling before she even reached the pen. Poor girl was probably pissed. A sigh escaped her and she shook her head, entering the safety cage where they were trying to get the Dilophosaurus immobilized. She would be pissed too if she was treated that way.
She motioned for the vets to leave for the time being and they quickly abliged. “Hey beautiful.” She spoke, slowly making her way towards the creature, hands in front of her to show she meant no harm. Her movements were slow “Hey, relax. It’s alright…. No one is going to hurt you when I’m around. We just want to make sure you’re healthy. It won’t take long. Then we will let you back into your enclosure, alright?..”
