《Quick Vent》

(slight tw) - as a black person I am so sick and tired of our culture being appropriated, I am so tired of older white people being discriminatory towards us, I am tired of kids thinking it's cool to say racial slurs, I hate feeling unsafe in this world for just being who i am. I never wanna be physically assaulted for my race ever!

I was mostly raised in black neighborhoods growing up and felt rejected by my own race then, now living in the suburbs, it's been okay so far but I always worry being in places that aren't diverse enough? We're currently being targeted by a drunken male whose a conservative--he keeps putting bottles in our yard and my parents are in the process of getting evidence to confront his ass, the owner of the house (his brother) is nice to us despite him being racist too, I seriously hope this doesnt escalate soon and be resolved because my parents now know who it is.

Last weekend I complimented a lady on her dog and she gave me this weird stare? Like how dare I have the audacity to speak to her, you have to be seriously demented if you're that offended by someone's skin color. So, I learned my lesson and will no longer speak to them.

Then the mexican people who like to constantly use the N word to sound cool or the asian people apropriating hip hop culture, yall want the designer shit but not the struggle and discrimination that comes with it??? Please point me to where the normal/like minded people are- I am so sick of the prejudice, the world wasnt built for 1 color.

This older generation is really weighing us down, just look at the damn president- now , not everyone is racist! Let's remember that but stay away from those who are, I have slight hope for newer generations as most have been very accepting to all communities vs back then but this will always be something that plagues our society.

Disclaimer- yes Latinos and asians face discrimination as well not singling anyone out🙄, dont bitch at me in my asks inbox, no more anons from now on ;) you dont like what I have to say just block me smh.

Okay so I know that post about Kayvan came out yesterday and I know I’ve been very upset about his behavior and how he’s still fucking excusing said behavior ten years later and also really conflicted on how to feel about wwdits and Nandor as a character now so I wanted to open up an echo chamber for black fans of the show.

Black WWDITS fans, how are you feeling about all this? How do you feel about Nandor as a character now and the show as a whole since this has all come out? Feel free to dump everything here. This is a safe space and I’m open to discussion and hearing your voices.

i also wanna take the time to emphasize that the fine line series and other requests will be on hold until further notice; so basically all my writing. there are more important issues going on, and i have to make sure my mental health stays okay. but again, don’t be afraid to reach out. i mean it.

《Important Message》

Idk if anyone will listen but it's worth a shot🤷🏽‍♀️ I am not in a good living situation right now. My grandma is the only one who is emotionally & financially helping me out💜💕 shes breaking the cycle through me! If it werent for her idk where I would be (truly) but she can only do so much🥺 I'm in the process of applying to multiple internships, trying to land a part time job and make money to get the hell out of here but the waiting game is hard.

I've been gaslit for too long to the point where I'm gaslighting myself now..."my situation isnt that bad." I had to admit it to myself, I have no one to confide in and turn to, no siblings, parents, cousins, nothing.

No unfortunately I cant live with my grandmother she lives too far away and is trying to survive herself. I have no other family members I'm emotionally close to and it hurts. I question why am I even here sometimes?? This is why I feel so alone. I am hoping and praying to get the hell out of here someday but it's so so hard rn and I wish it were easier.

The "I'm sorrys" and "I dont know what to really says" are appreciated but I dont wanna hear that right now because that's all I ever received my whole life😕 (be in my shoes for once) I want to know if theres anyone else in this situation who GETS IT? I wish I could escape and feel safe but I cant I gotta deal with it alone for now..tomorrow I plan on ordering a mini fridge for myself this is the only type of comfort I got left (my room)💕...
