neither of them ever need to make a noise - there's no need, not when they know each other's presence by instinct. it's been centuries of their very souls being entwined: maeve as inescapably clara's as clara is hers. a careful balancing act between somehow still both counting as two people... despite all the moments in which they are one. safehouse is in the middle of nowhere, so far out that light pollution cannot interfere with how stars shine above them, maeve's steps silent as she moves on roof, coming to lie next to wife on slates - carried blanket gently placed on them both. "I'm sure they're envious of your beauty." she softly teases, pressing kiss on other's cold cheek. "feeling restless?"

“Would you try this with me?” Niamh!

"Honey, the day I say no to trying new things in general is the day you need to take me to a shrink for a head exam," Niamh paused, tucking her chin over Clara's shoulder as she wrapped her arm tight around her girlfriend's waist, eyeing the description on the page Clara's had gestured to with curiousity, "I am definitely curious, we can try whenever you like, my sweet goddess."

"absolutely not, clara." there's a firmness to her voice that's rare - a concern not for herself, but for anyone other might get her hands on. maeve is under no delusions how much woman loves her: just as she knows the temper that can burn beneath the skin she loves so much. clara isn't the cruel sort... but she's also not someone who forgives those she loves being hurt. and bruises echo on pink features, clara's voice a reminder that it could have been worse.

she's been in danger before, but usually she's been able to keep it from being too clear, from worrying clara too much. "I'm fine. we can handle this. I can deal with some bruising."

a 'world fair' in (what would be compared to in earth years) 10102. people had come all across the universe to see it. to see oddities and and artifacts from civilizations they may or may not recognize. the opposite of a world fair, really. more-so a 'museum pop up' .

the TARDIS door opened with a creak, the doctor adjusting his coat.

" JUST so you know---" he leaned left toward her while she stepped out. "...I can already feel the joke you want to make. so you'll have to come up with something else. " he smiled quickly, checking his pocket to ensure his sonic was there.

old ancient things that were fascinating and should be on display. ha-ha. very funny.

"Over my dead fucking body!" Niamh shot back, ducking behind cover as her palms sparked and glowed a soft, burnt-orange with converted energy. She was not leaving Clara to face this on her own; she may be a goddess, but Niamh wasn't useless or in need of protection. She was built for this, combat against the enemies of the Time Lords, and who was their greatest enemy if not the Daleks?
