New addition to my Aphrodite Altar: a sand dollar

This piece means a lot to me because I grew up in the Midwest, and now live in Denver, I've only been to a beach a handful of times in my life.

My mom kept in her jewelry box a little box with 2 sand dollars. One was whole and the other broken so you could see the little doves inside. I was only shown the sand dollars a few times, but my mom loved them so much and she made the moments I had with them really special.

So I've always wanted a sand dollar. A coworker went to North Carolina last week and got me one! It's so big, I thought she was handing me a wrapped sugar cookie at first, lol.

I'm happy to let Aphrodite hold onto it for me. She is like my mom deity. The fun mom.
