Taking in a deep breath, the male gingerly touched the bruising before finally pressing the last bit of the cigarette to the wall, putting it off before flicking it away as he rose his hand and knocked twice on the window beside him.

If this was the right window...? He wasn't quite sure. But it wouldn't kill anyone if he had the wrong window. He'd just be all 'whoops, wrong window, lemme hop to the one beside you'.
