i love zosan where zoro finds out hes in love and DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT IT hes like "oh thia explains stuff" and keeps going and is DYING INSIDE TO BE CLOSE TO SANJI IN ANY WAY. BUT HIS WAY OF LOVING IS TO JUST BE THERE AND FIGHTING HIM. but whenever the cook touches his hair or does anything stupid hes like *broken machine sound* and gets flustered like stupid fuck god i hate him hes a simple creature, then he gets used to it and sanji is lowk sad about it

one of the things i absolutely ADORE about homestuck is that it sidesteps the big plot thats supposed to happen in sburb, everything gets broken cause of how BAD the players game and we never see some of the lore because the narrative is not centered on it but on characters relationships. not how the plot changes them, but how THEY change the plot.

For me personally the queer baiting was never a problem in media until i heard of it online because i had always liked the ambiguity of these relationships, relationship that never happened with man and women, mostly it happened between two men in any possibile media and less two women but also more possible.

Just a secret third thing that for me wasnt the fucking "talking stage" it was a genuine understanding of both parties they'd die for each other and reach the end of the earth for each other, an understanding the two had that never needed to be explicated on tv for how the implicity of it was actually pretty fucking clear to me. A way to feel that isn't in the binary so it's understanding it's warped, despite it probably just being a creation of wanting queer audiences to watch without giving them the treat, but despite the terrible connotations it had, death of the autor, its also incredibly important for me as a stepping stone that: maybe i just don't apreciate love for when it was brought into the question my giddyness failed to keep existing.

Ence why i think queerplatonic relationship are The Shit. The actual godly figure of ambiguity but not in a vague sense, in a You Can Do Whatever You Want Whenever In Your Life, For You Control It typa way. Also why i got so mad whever the two would stop talking or have a wife or something at the end of films, you would die for him, but spend your life with someone else???? Which, ok. Sure. Can happen. But noooooooo ughhhhfushiffh
