Roadmap for ESO in 2023!!! I’m actually hyped!!! Apparently, a highly requested feature is coming and with a multiple year storyline!!!

So Witchman Bearcalias, a rando encounter in The Reach, who can tell your fortune, read my love fortune for the billionth time today. This time, instead of telling me I will die alone and miserable, he said I’d find love, but take it to my grave. So if romance ever becomes a thing, here is what I’d like to see for romance with everyone’s favorite count, Verandis Ravenwatch, in ESO.

Some kind of happening for all the live interests to be in the same place at the same time, (kind of like what’s going to happen in High Isle). Would love a main storyline surrounding Sanguine, too.

All options, including Vranny, are companions that can tag along with you, and help in adventuring, just like Bas-Chan and Mirri.

He, and others, will have special perks, likes/dislikes, and behavior they approve/disapprove of. I suspect Vranny will be a bit of a goody two shoes, and will get all bent outta shape when you steal and stuff. I suspect “SHUT THE FUCK UP, VERANDIS”, will become a normal part of my yelling at the TV, just as it is with my companions, every time I forget he’s around, and I do something he hates. WHO WILLINGLY SOLD THEIR SOUL TO MOLAG BAL, VRANNY?! THAT’S RIGHT, YOU DID. I FUCKING LOVE YOU, BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MORAL AUTHORITY, OR FORTITUDE, TO CRITICIZE ME FOR STEALING ANOTHER ESSENCE OF RAVENWATCH, OR GODDAMN CHAMBER POT.

Some of the things I think you’d gain affinity for doing with Vranny would be Harrowstorms, reading, and taking him to places like Fargrave, or the Clockwork City. But you will lose A LOT of affinity for taking him to Coldharbour, (duh).

Vranny will look like he’s supposed to, in order to avoid spoilers, so all the Silver Fox! Vranny fans, will be a bit disappointed. But they will use the excuse that he’s mastered the Dark Heart’s power well enough to be away from it indefinitely, alter his appearance, and it will be the last we hear of it, (if Markarth’s epilogue is completed).

Romance related quests when you reach certain milestones. Since it is quite obvious Vranny is loaded financially, I want to see one of his other properties, or the Ravenwatch vineyard. I’d also like to see a romance quest where you find out his exact motivations for becoming a vampire. Would also like to have his life during Ranser’s war fleshed out more, and especially see Princess Rayelle’s reaction to hearing Emeric was marrying Maraya, instead of her.

Since Bearcalias said I’d take the memory of my love to the grave, I’d want the main storyline to end with Verandis leaving the Vestige behind to die, while someone drags him away as he screams in violent protest to remain with you.

SO HELP ME GOD, THEY BETTER MAKE A SEXUAL INNUENDO ABOUT HOW HE “LIKES TO BITE”.

Vranny’s PORTRAIT! It would be cool that when you max out a LI’s affinity, you earn their portrait for your house! And friendship quests for all the options you don’t wish to romance! Then you can have ALL the portraits! My OC has a mighty need for all the RW’s portraits. She loves her kids. Also, MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR YOU AND YOUR LOVE INTEREST, TO HAVE A WEDDING PORTRAIT, TOO!

You gotta be good with their fam and friends, too! So quests to raise their affinity, too!!! I want to see wholesome father-son bonding with Fennorian!!

And on that subject, A WEDDING! Dude, they could even go as far as Vranny pulling a Oblivion Sanguine, and magically remove the guests’ clothes for the lols.

New New Life quests for all!! I mean, he has naked parties, so I headcanon Vranny does it for the Feast of Souls, (a vampiric holiday I’ve based on the treasure item picture that drops at Harrowstorms, which is supposed to have naked mortals), which they could add as a New Life thing for vampires!!!

An option for you to complete the Old Life Observance with your SO! Then Leila Montclair, or Radsy could appear!

Rivals! What fun would romance be if you don’t have a Harvest Moon style romance rival who’ll try to steal your boy/girl!

So that’s what I got so far! I may add more as my weird brain comes up with stuff. But, please, please, be nice to me, Zeni, and give me a Vranny I can drive around on my two rider spider, and can help me flash dirty looks at NPCs I hate as we drive by.

And for all my fellow thirsty Ravenwatch fans who have yet to find Essence of Ravenwatch, or the Tarot; whenever I come across EoR, it’s in safe boxes in Rivenspire. I personally have only ever found it exclusively inside them, so always take a look. Ravenwatch Tarot has the highest chance to be found by pickpocketing Mages in any Mage’s Guild.
