I will never get tired fics where Wu Ming gets to meet post-canon!Xie Lian (whether time-travel or by curse or etc)

Can you imagine the kind of thoughts he would be having? After years of being chased away, bullied and told that his existence was a curse, imagine him finding out that in the future: he is wanted.

That he is loved.

The fact that its His Highness would be mind-blowing in itself. But the fact that they are married and that they are happy will blow his fucking mind.

He has seen Xie Lian be hurt and back then, Wu Ming was still a weak ghost fire. So imagine him finding out that not only did he manage to finally protect and stay by Xie Lian's side, he also built him a temple and flew thousands of lanterns in his name. Every thing he was not able to do back then, he was able to do now.

In the future, he finally has a home.

If Yue Qingyuan told the truth of why he didn't come back to Shen Jiu, do you think that would have affected how the story went?

ngl having my mum and lil bro for a visit here absolutely puts a dent on my bank account.

but also, it is my own fault too because I want to spoil them to make up for the lost time. And I really am having fun! It's the most memorable month I've had for years.

But damn... they'll be leaving in one week. I feel like the winter blues (yes its winter where I am) will hit me very hard once they go.

I don't think I'm ready for that time to come. Yet time will march on and the sun will rise. What bittersweet thing this is.
