While on patrol, Tallspark notices some suspicious pawprints in the mud beneath the canopy.

Boldly, Lightningstar follows the pawprints to a trespassing rogue, and confronts them. Fur puffed up and scowling, Lightningstar and Tallspark demand the rogue leaves VerdantClan territory. Intimidated by their confidence, the rogue gives in and leaves without a fight.

Greenleaf is truly the best time of year to be a medicine cat, with the world so full of flowers and green growth. Minnowtuft heads out to gather fresh mallow for the stores with a patrol of their Clanmates to assist them.

Minnowtuft is distracted today, and it affects their work. The patrol is unsuccessful, and the cats snappy with each other.

The patrol comes across a squirrel. It's engrossed in nibbling at a morsel beneath a tree.

Berrysplash notices first, raising their tail to tell the others to stop. Banshee ignores the warrior, taking it as an offense to their ability to lead a patrol.

Banshee leaps over the cat, confronting them and scares the squirrel doing so.

Tallspark is glad that their stomachache is finally gone.

Scorchbracken confessed their feelings to Barleyrock and they have become mates.

Lightningstar died from a broken bone, losing a life.

Summitlaurel announced that they are expecting kits. They choose to continue their duties as usual for now.

Moon 5 (pt 1)

Lightningstar has been following the progress of Antlerpaw for moons, and feels that it is finally time for them to get their warrior name. They are granted the name Antlermane in honor of their energy.

Antlermane and Tallspark both have runny noses.

Worried about their stores of burdock, and anticipating the plants' newleaf growth, Minnowtuft heads out to replenish the Clan's stocks, bringing along anyone who isn't busy with other work.

The strengthening newleaf sun has tempted fat burdock leaves to start to sprout, and it's not finding them that's hard, it's trying to carry the roots back to camp all at once that proves difficult! It's a long but productive, light-hearted afternoon filled with smiles and jokes as the obliging cats follow Minnowtuft's direction to cart everything home.

New-leaf / Spring

Tallpaw's penchant for getting into, and even starting, trouble has almost made Lightningstar hold back on making them a warrior. However, Lightningstar can tell that Tallpaw has been trying really hard lately to make up for it, and it would feel cruel to make them hs wait any longer So, Lightningstar names them Tallspark in honor of their resilience.

Minnowtuft can walk without pain, their cracked pads have healed.

While on patrol, Berrypaw notices some suspicious pawprints in the mud beneath the canopy.

Minnowtuft notices that the moss in the medicine den is getting old. They need to go and gather some more.

Minnowtuft leads the way to the best moss patch they know, with their entourage following close behind. The cats begin cutting off bits of moss and making their respective piles - once the piles turn into mouthfuls, they pick up the bundles of new bedding and start back towards camp.
