Here’s yet more pics of Ver and Verxes in various romantic interaction. They’re so cute together, I just can’t help it.
Ver was unable to cope with all the emotions he was going through, he had no release for everything he was feeling. Losing control, Ver had a mental break down...

The divorce rocked Ver to his core. He was devasted. He couldn’t think properly, everything he did was becoming more and more erratic. He tried working out again, to expend his energy on the punching bag. But it didn’t work. It had the opposite effect.
Once Ver started to let out his emotion, there was no way to stop it again. Rage, anguish, sorrow. Once he let the trickle out, he couldn’t stop the torrent that came. Drying himself off, he escaped back to the safety of his shower. The water flow sobbing his tears and he was unable to cope with the onslaught.

Ver was already awake the sun came up. It’d been a rough night, and he wasn’t feeling any better he had been the evening before. He spent most of the morning lying in bed, he didn’t want to face what lay downstairs. All that was down there was misery and betrayal. But as he heard the rest of his family waking, Ver knew he had wake. He focused intently on the task that was dressing, not letting his mind wander.
As he trudged down the stairs, Verxes was already awake, and sat watching the television. He greeted Ver as though nothing had happened. When Ver questioned it, Verxes once again tried to play off what he’d seen last night as a misunderstanding. Hearing Verxes deny the truth, yet again, it ignited Ver’s rage again. He couldn’t take it. He let rip on Verxes again, like he’d done the night before. Except this time, he reminded Verxes of everything Ver had done for him, reminding him of the work that Ver had done to keep put the roof over their heads, of how much Ver had endured as a result of Verxes’ extra-terrestrial-ness.
Verxes argued that he’d sacrificed everything for Ver too. That he’d given up his freedom to be with Ver. Ver was shocked into silence, he couldn’t tell if Verxes was being serious, suggesting he had no freedom even though he’d been able to hook up with another woman without Ver’s knowledge. Verxes took his silence as Ver agreeing with him about his freedom. He continued, saying that he’d put up with Ver’s 5 children, none of whom were his own…
Ver exploded, he went ballistic with Verxes, completely infuriated that he dare to attack his children. Ver’s children were everything to him, Verxes even mentioning their names made him sick but the idea of Verxes trying to use them against him ignited his parental instinct, to protect his babies. The babies who he’d carried, birthed, and raised. The babies who had no one else in the world except their father. The babies who he would protect to his dying breath. He shouted Verxes into a stunned silence as Verxes saw a completely new side to Ver. Not the devastated Ver from the night before, this was the Ver who sensed a threat to his kids and wouldn’t stop until it was gone for good.
Ver told Verxes that his children were part of him. That if he thought he had to “put up” with them, then he was not welcome in Ver’s home or Ver’s heart. Their marriage was over, completely and utterly. There was no coming back from this, as far as Ver was concerned. Verxes had toyed with his love, but he would never toy with his children.
Verxes went to protest, but stopped as he saw the look in Ver’s eyes. The fury mingled with a desperate sadness. There would be no talking his way out of this, no smooth recovery. Reality crashed down over him, as he realised his mistake. He walked towards the front door, and down the path, never to return to the Swyft household again.

As Verxes slumped to the ground, energy drained from the feeding, Ver began to gain more control over his actions. But his emotions were still too great to allow him to be able to change back into his human form. He started blowing off some steam on the boxing bag. Doing his best not to picture it to be Verxes, as he worked out his frustration.
As he climbed the stairs to go back to bed, he saw Verxes about to follow him into their bedroom. If looks could kill, Verxes would’ve withered beneath the Ver’s glare. Thinking better than to sleep in the same room as his already pissed off vampire husband who he’d been caught cheating and who’d just mesmerised him to drink his blood. He went back downstairs to spend the night on the sofa, thinking that surely Ver would feel better in the morning.

Ver couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He adored Verxes, loved him with all his heart. And sat on the couch, in Ver’s own home, he was getting all cosy another. A woman, rubbing yet more salt into the gaping wound. They’d both been open about their bisexuality, but it still pained him to see. He was humiliated, he was devastated, he was infuriated.
Scay had volunteered to tell Ver about Verxes, feeling that she was the best to break the news since she’d been the only one to see Verxes’ betrayal. She stood on the landing, steeling herself. As she began to climb down, she saw Ver storm into the living room. She realised he’d already found out, it pained her to watch him. A few moments after Ver, she watched Verxes chase after him.
Ver didn’t want to be in the same room as Verxes anymore, he wanted to get away from him. He went into the living room, intending to head out the front door, desperate to put as much space between them as possible. Behind him, he heard Verxes chasing after him. He didn’t look at him at first, unable to bring himself to look at the man who he’d once adored.
Then Verxes spoke, tried to tell Ver it wasn’t what it looked like. Ver spun around, enraged. Not only had Verxes been going behind his back for who knows how long, he was now trying to lie to Ver, to play it off as nothing. Ver let rip on Verxes, holding back nothing. He didn’t care about the other people in attendance, the fact that his children and father could hear everything, he told Verxes exactly what he thought of what he’d seen.
Seeing Ver’s rage, Verxes backed away from him. He began retreating to the stairs, worried what would happen. As the reality began to wash over Ver, he became overwhelmed. The thought of his marriage falling apart, of losing the man he loved, it was too much for him. No longer in full control, his vampire side took over, seeking blood. Verxes quickly succumbed to Ver’s thirst, helpless against his mesmer.

Flustered, Scay found Yntie and Zey and brought them up to her room. She told them both exactly what she had seen. They were both shocked, but they quickly agreed on what they had to do. They needed to tell Ver, they couldn’t let Verxes do this to him.
Meanwhile, Ver had noticed that the triplets had all disappeared from the party. He was curious as to where they’d gone. It had been their idea to hold the party in the first place. He was searching until he heard Verxes in the viewing lounge. He walked into the room, about to ask Verxes if he’d seen the triplet.
He stood, frozen, watching in horror as the love of his life was cosying up to another woman.
