how about
a hard boiled female detective and her scrappy assistant who essentially helps her keep her life together because lbr if the detective had it her way, she'd eat takeout and drink cheap gin for every meal
the femme fatale who walks through the doorway pretending to be the damsel in distress, sending the detective on a wild goose chase for a macguffin, thus using the detective to lend credibility to this crazy story she's made up about hidden treasure in a supposedly haunted house owned by an eccentric synthetic widow who died during the uprising
the devious, dangerous crooked politician our femme fatale/damsel's trying to get off her trail with this fake story of hidden treasure. the poltician's from a family that was once held in high esteem but they've lost a lot of their support and their financial backing over the years. she's determined to see her family name back at the top of the heap and she'll achieve her goals by any means - even if it means two-timing the woman she loves.
okay pretty much i want a bad-ass all female cast for a film noir inspired caper IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK?
