Vermines Sébastien Vaniček France/USA, 2023 ★★★ That was a lot of fun! Nightmarish to me because I can't stand spiders BUT fun nevertheless.
There are a couple of supposedly very emotional and poignant scenes that just don't work and a few "nightclub scene in COLLATERAL" moments that also don't work but luckily they don't last.
I realized something: whenever I see the Shudder logo (whether production or just distribution) I know I'm gonna have a good time. They're the anti-Blumhouse!
