Probably my favorite of the ones I’ve done so far, or close to.

My changeling bard/tomelock Nix and their alcoholic sailor wizard love interest, Joreda.

They kind of Fated him to a watery grave and he’s surprisingly lackadaisical about it (apparently there’s a list of gods who want him dead).  He was more upset to learn he was the “other man” than he was to learn about his Fate.  

Their relationship’s taken a rather bumpy turn, but they’re trying, at least.  Nix recently dumped the other guy for him.

(He’s also almost twice their level.  Nix is level 8, he’s level 14, at least.  Both are 26-27 years old though - he’s just a prodigy.)

Also, if anyone is interested, I will 100% be happy to tell their story and give updates, lol.  Sunday is a wild fuckin’ ride.

Moodboard for my enby/genderfluid changeling, Nix!  

They recently died because they told the god of Fate “no” to his face when he wanted them to finish the mission they started - which involved getting a very powerful wizard to sail east.  Unfortunately, they fell in love with the wizard (sorcerer?).

Thankfully, they had the cleric on standby and he revivified them in time.  They see this as a win.

Tonight, they have a “tenuous” date with said wizard (who knows nothing about their dying).

Still playing around with things, and I’m not sure I like this one as much, so I’ll probably redo it at some point.  Was going for subtle dark red/balck + white/grey.

I wrote some stuff!

I finally got around to posting some of the things I’ve written for my D&D character, Nix.  They’re a changeling eloquence bard 3/tomelock of [redacted] 5 (their patron didn’t give their name, just told them to call him Patron - Nix makes amazing and smart life choices).

No world knowledge is really necessary for I’ll be the blood if you’ll be the bones, which is their backstory.  Part 1 of 3 is complete for that, though I still feel like something needs a touch up in it - I’d be wildly grateful for any constructive criticism on it.

The others are spread out through the campaign (which, for me, started around January 2019 - the homebrew world has existed for somewhere around 4-5 years now, with 3 other groups playing in it, as well as an earlier iteration of Sunday group, before I joined). Since they’re spread out through the campaign, they might not make a ton of sense.  I have vague plans of writing more to fill in those gaps, but it’ll still be fairly episodic.  Outside the backstory, everything was mainly written to process how Nix was reacting to various things in game (most noticeably their terrible decisions concerning their probably inadvisable love-life and interactions with gods).

I did try to explain context at least a bit in the author’s notes.  Please heed the warnings, though.

I’m also making a nice writing page for that campaign, which will have brief blurbs about the various PCs and main NPCs that have shown up.

Moodboard for my Sunday game backup character (well, one of them), Enerres.

A tiefling divination wizard with a splash of rogue.  He was the leader of a crime syndicate before being caught and sentenced to death in the temple of Istus, where criminals do readings for those who ask.  In this world, if you read someone their Fate card without the god’s blessing, you died a horrible cough-up-organs sort of death, usually.

Apparently, he had the blessing and his sentence was commuted to service for the church - and he became a priest of Istus.  Didn’t give up his bad habits, however.

Moodboard for Synde - a backstory character for Nix.

Nix grew up on the street, on the run from guards and “rat catchers” who would sell them into slavery.  Synde was their only friend and the two were close.

Unfortunately, Synde got in the way of plans - something Nix still regrets at times.

Tried to get some pride flag vibes in there, cause I always though of Synde leaning a bit wlw.
