"Oh hey! You must be one of the new sims in the 'hood!" Yue greeted Ronnie. "I'm Yue. Do you wanna play on the monkey bars? I'll race you!"
Ronnie shook her head. "I don't know. I was thinking of watching the chess game over there," she pointed toward the group of adults all huddled around the chess table.
"Oh," Yue wrinkled her nose. She liked games and all, but not chess! "You can go ahead. I'll just play here by myself."
Alright, maybe they've got a bit of playfulness in them after all!
While chatting with Hazel, Ronnie actually discovered her one true hobby!
"When I grow up, I wanna fix cars for a living!" she was telling her about her dreams to become a mechanic. "I might even open up a store that sells all the cars I restore."
"Urgh," Hazel shook her head. "That sounds cool and all, but way too filthy for my taste.
"What do you wanna do?" the future knowledge sim asked.
Hazel shrugged. "Anything I want! It's a brand new 'hood, there's gonna be plenty of options to unlock!"
Meanwhile, outside...
Now it's really it for the Danvers household's turn. It was an incredibly long and tedious five days but they managed to make it through! Hopefully next time things will be a bit better for them.
Since they struggled so much this rotation and need all of the simoleons they can get, they will not be required to pay taxes.
Both Isaiah and Ronnie have slipping grades, but at least it's the weekend now! They'll have plenty of time to fix their needs and do their homework.
For now though it's time to have some fun! The siblings enjoyed a couple rounds of rock, paper, scissors before dinner.
Ronnie started working on her homework but it wasn't long before exhaustion set in. She could barely even keep her eyes open!
"I'm just gonna wake up early and do the rest in the morning," she yawned to herself.
Would she? Only time would tell...
She did get to claim the new single bed in the kids' room though!
Ronnie's mood wasn't that much better than her brother's, but she was a knowledge sim.
She wasn't going to sit around and mope. She was going to pick her plumbob up off the floor and do what she had to in order to succeed in this 'hood.
If she wanted to become the mayor one day, or a doctor, or a scientist, or anything... she had to work really hard!
Also, it was something to do in this boring, empty house.
