In the good universe, Girl Meets World reintroduced Shawn as Veronica. You’d hear of her first, Cory’s friend Ronnie, or Vee, or some other nickname that makes it less likely a regular fan would remember the episode before seeing her, that he’s so excited! to see again!, and you’d wonder who tf is Ronnie/Vee/whatever, and then it would be Veronica neé Shawn. And the tumblr crowd tuned in for only that episode. (And had a bunch of discourse slapfights about it. Even the good universe has flaws.)

What if I tell you that Angela Moore is a lesbian and she dated "Shawn" bc "Shawn" is actually Veronica and she comes out to her and it all makes sense and they're a beautiful lesbian couple? What, then? Huh?

It's just so...you expect it to be "haha man in dress" and it kind of is that with Cory, but then Shawn is just extremely natural as a girl?? he knows how to carry himself and speak in a convincingly feminine way right off the bat. and then he has the name Veronica picked out already, quietly admitting he's thought about this before?? hello??
UHHH EXCITING NEWS!!! I am working on new fics!! the first one is a Boy Meets World fic heavily influenced by the song She Talks to Angels by The Black Crowes. it's a Veronica-centric story that takes place during season 6, although I've abandoned a lot of canon details to further the plot lol. it is slightly angsty, and heavily features the Hunter siblings coping with Chet's death. part of it is a rewrite of season 6 episode 15, Road Trip. I am so excited to finally share it with you guys, and I hope you'll enjoy it! it should be done and posted sometime this week <3
