Verso and Rose's wedding portrait 💍
This portrait was painted by both Verso and Rose's parents.
Verso and Rose got married in 1900, five years before the house fire. They've known each other since their childhood.
Rose's parents were famous Painters and great friends with the Dessendre family. They often visit them, either for friendly visits or for professional purposes.
Verso was 3 years old when he first met Rose, who was 1 year younger. They quickly became inseparable and spent most of their time playing in the Canvas along with Clea and Alicia.
During their teenage years, their strong friendship evolved into a romantic relationship. They were respectively 16 and 15 years old when they first kissed.
Rose knew Verso wanted to become a skilled Musician instead of a Painter. She has always been supportive of his dream and has spent days and nights at his side, learning music with him.
In 1897, when Verso turned 18 years old, he promised Rose he would marry her after she finished her Paintress studies. 3 years later, Rose Delaunay became Madame Dessendre and started her new life as Verso's wife.
They spent 5 years as the happiest married couple on earth. Until the fire took both Verso and their unborn child's lives forever.
