Wow my first finished commission in what, five years? six?

I've admittedly never considered this ship before but this piece was a delight to work on! :D

Idk what it is about my random fixations on the least popular fandom ships… buuut my love for both Striker & Verosika individually just got me thinking of their ship potential together hehehe~ 👀💖

The sneaky bitch rogue & the bad bitch popstar, both having the charm & ego to get what they want… yet the burdens of past grudges/heartache hold them back from “true” happiness. For all the hard work she’s done to earn her fame, something feels missing in Miss Verosika’s heart… drawing her all the more to Striker’s roughened, broken edges. Neither are saints, by ANY means… but maybe, just maybe… their hearts can heal anew, rising above this Hellish world together~ ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I like giving attention to my favorite crackships and rarepairs, so I made these collages to support this extremely underrated ship, (even by rarepair standards) Verosika x Striker.

Ya know Mastermind might have shown Verosika being concerned about Blitzø almost dying and Striker wanting it to happen, but idc i'll still ship Verosiker like the rarepair enthusiast I am. Besides, who says a ship has to have canon basis for it to be good?

I think Striker and Verosika would get along due to how much they have in common and how well their personalities mesh.

Think about it. They're both egotistical, prideful, obsessed with revenge, take their hatred of others to the extreme and use their good looks/charm to manipulate other people and get what they want.

Verosika dated an assassin, so I don't think she'd be all that bothered by Striker's body count.

Striker has a guitar and Verosika is a singer. A duet with these two while Striker plays guitar? Yes please.

The contrast with Striker being repulsed by people making sex jokes when he's trying to kill them and Verosika being a literal succcubus who's whole species is based around sex itself makes for a nice "opposites attract" dynamic, as long as they aren't TOO opposite, like Striker and Chaz for example.

I've always liked the trope of "character from the big city and character from the countryside/small town meet each other, get used to each other's environments and fall in love".

The only problem is that I don't know how well Verosika would take it if she ever finds out that Striker tried to kill Stolas twice. Probably not well considering how friendly Verosika was with Stolas in Apology Tour, but then again, it's not like their friendship was all that genuine anyway. Verosika barely knows Stolas and tried to persuade him to sing about how Blitzø was the only bad guy and Stolas was nothing but a victim even when Stolas himself was admitting that he has himself to blame just as much as Blitzø does.

Either way, Verosiker is an underrated ship and i'm tired of pretending it's not.
