Many, many years ago Hawkins had a breach. During the night a creature slipped into the Targaryen’s foster home. Viserys had been awake at the time and had screamed bloody murder, springing from the top bunk and leaving Daenerys at the mercy of whatever it was. By the time their foster parents had come, bat in hand pale and shaken, little Dany was gone. Never to be seen again. The demogorgon had taken her to the UPSIDE DOWN and for years she lived within the darkness . . . Caring for the creatures. It was terrifying, but for whatever reason they hadn’t hurt her. They’d bring her dead rabbits and whatever they could catch, small (AND REGRETTABLY LARGE) tokens and gifts for their . . . . What was she to them? Taken as a child, terrified and alone . . . Slowly fostering a bond with the beasts that dare not hurt her. She roamed the Upside Down like a hollow ghost, total isolation not being felt because . . . Well, she wasn’t truly alone, was she? Viserys didn’t hurt her here and . . . They took care of her. They looked to her. They loved her, and at some point, she loved them too. A fierce loyalty was formed as the creatures of darkness stood alongside her all those years. Until she wasn’t alone. And that’s when the problems started.

POST CAP 2 VERSE.

After the events of Captain America 2, Revekka managed to escape HYDRA.

She kept in tune with as much as she could, and was relieved when new Director Phil Coulson asked her to return to the newly-formed SHIELD.

She's working with limited resources, and is trying her best to make the most of what she has.
