The three-piece suit was a bit much given their surroundings. It was what sparked the comment, to begin with after seeing the side glance. Catching the flat tone and quasi-distracted reaction he thought to leave the exchange there; however, something compelled him to continue. After all, she wasn’t a total stranger to him. While they’d not met prior he knew of the young demon. “What about you? Do you belong?” A fair enough question considering the setting.

Closed Stater for Addison

What was it? Two or three in the morning? No matter the time Val placed the glass of overpriced scotch down on the marble tabletop as he felt an electric breeze blow through the den. Something was terribly off. No sooner did the thought enter his mind did a portal slowly begin to form and spin. With each rotation gaining in size. Someone was beckoning him and there was only a handful who’d he granted the ability to have such a power over him. Not wasting a moment he walked into the black mass of shifting shadows as he felt the rush as a deafening whoosh blocked out any other sound. Bizarrely he’d journeyed to one of  Pavlo’s establishments and from the moment exiting the portal into the hall, he could smell metallic scent of blood wafting in the air.   

Quickening the pace he broke into a run after hearing the terrifying cries of a woman. Passing through the double doors of the kitchen his eyes in search of Addison which he now scented as well. He only saw the top of her head until he rounded the corner of the counter unit. The scene was ghastly. A man was sprawled across the floor as Addie was curled up in a corner. Val’s eyes went wide as he stepped on the man with little regard making his way over to the distraught woman. Taking a knee he hovered a second examining the situation: clothes were torn and hair in disarray as a stream of steady tears rolled down her cheeks. Knowing the corpse was the reason behind it he felt enraged he wasn’t able to doll out some revenge. With an abrupt shift of head, the dead man on the floor slid violently across the kitchen running into a wall in an attempt to get it the furthest away as possible. Brow knitted he did his best to comfort, “Shh...it’s alright. I’ll clean it up.”

Closed Starter for Pavlo:

Val had let himself into the penthouse and while he sensed the witch wasn’t there it would only be a matter of time before he waltzed in. Instead, he helped himself to the finest import of bourbon the witch had stocked. He sipped straight from the bottle and didn't care to trouble himself with a tumbler. Resting on the Italian leather sofa he spread out and propped his feet on the table. Pavlo surrounded himself with exquisite things, and while Val was at times ignorant of such things it didn’t stop him from benefiting from it. 

Deciding perhaps he should make a call he rested the bottle on the table as he pulled out the cell. No sooner then he made it to the contact list did he sense Pavlo, tossing the cell to land on the plush couch. Waiting for the witch to enter the living space he grabbed the bottle again. The sound of footsteps echoed on fine marble as he came closer. Lifting his gaze the moment the man walked through the arch. “Welcome home, friend. We need to talk.”

"I'm not looking for kindness..." She was in a foreign land, just minutes after appearing on a TV show promoting her music, hiding in a dressing room with a man she barely knew. Eventually, she would go back home and he would stay here. They had no future anyways, it was just fun. A mere distraction - but a very sexy distraction.

Her body close to his, she reached up and brushed her thumb over his lower lip. "Just entertain me for a while longer, Saja boy...", she whispered and bit down on her lip.

Sera chuckled, her fangs glistening in the purple light. "Oh, come on, you can't tell me you don't enjoy a little decieving." She came to sit on one of the armrests of his fiery throne, the magenta of it shining its light onto them, and crossed her legs. Her hand brushed over his shoulder teasingly as she leaned closer.

"You're more fun than that."

When Val first landed in this realm despite his humanoid-like appearance he stuck out like a thousand dollar bill. He lacked human mannerisms and was unable to read cues from others around him. The first few weeks were spent wandering and mimicking the behavior of others. There were times he utterly failed at it and left a few bodies in his wake. No worry, not a soul was wasted. Even now he slips up from time to time if he becomes distracted enough.
