Getting lost on different planets and universes had quickly become a pastime of the blue hedgehog, now lost in a forest it seemed. Big surprise there, but the bigger surprise was that Sonic was actually walking for once and not mowing over whoever lived in this place.

After a few twists and turns he came upon the shack, but more importantly an actual person. Putting on his usual smile the hedgehog strutted over and waved a hand. “Yo~”

The voice was unfamiliar, but at this point, any voice would have been welcome.

"Hello there," she chimed bitterly, looking in the direction that the voice had come from. "And who-- or what-- might you be? Forgive my brashness, but I cannot see you."

Tut tut. The professor would have been hard at work, provided she could see her work. An unfinished machine sat beneath a somewhat poorly-built shack, which she sat in a chair next to.

"Just one last thing, and my sight goes," Prof. Glouin mused aloud, tapping a long stick-- her cane-- against the metal. She'd put out word that she was looking for someone to give her a hand in finding the last piece, but thus far, no one had come.

A rush of air and a muffled boom. Yes, that was certainly recognizable, though she'd never met him. What else could it be? It wasn't like anything else moved that fast.

Perhaps he would stop for a chat? She had put out word that she was looking for him, after all.
