gender identity (rant)

i am non-binary (they/them but he/him is alright) and i would like to say something to anyone who thinks nb people don’t exist or that were all crazy SJWs. 

gender and sex are two completely different things. here’s how i like to see it. your gender is in your mind, your sex is down below, your sexuality is in your heart, and how you choose to dress/represent yourself is on the outside.

a lot of people just don’t fit into the male or female category. deal with it babes

i’d like to use milo stewart as an example. (i’m just gonna say they because i really don’t know their pronouns, nor do i really care because i hate them) milo likes to think they’re a representative of the LGBT community. in all honesty, milo is the LAST person i want to be representing us. in addition to calling every white person racist, every man a misogynist, and every cis person transphobic, they got angry when people called them out for it, and used being nb as a way to defend themself, or attack other people.

if you use your gender to make others feel guilty, get the fuck out.

this is why a lot of people refuse to take nb/agender/other not cis people seriously. there are actually a lot of people who identify as nb that don’t give a shit if someone accidentally uses the wrong pronouns. like how were they supposed to know? i don’t get pissed when someone says he/him. know why? because i appear masculine. i only get pissed if i’ve told people i’m nb and they continue to misgender me because they just don’t feel like using the right pronouns, or because “i don’t exist”. if its an accident, i totally get it!! but if you misgender me on purpose, fuck you, that’s when i get angry. 

after you read this, if you still think that being non-binary isn’t a thing (and you shouldn’t think that because its basic human decency to respect others for who they are), i cant force you to change your mind. but just be respectful to anyone who isn’t a guy or a girl by minding your own fucking business. ever heard that saying “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”? that applies to this. if someone wants you to use different pronouns for them, then fucking do it. be respectful. 

 (quick note to all other non-binary people, please remember that no matter who tells you you’re invalid, YOU are the only one who knows who you truly are. all those other people can go fuck themselves. its not their mind, not their body, its yours. you’re all so brave, and i love all of you.)

story time

So I'm cleaning my fish tanks, right? I do this every two weeks, so I'm used to it, and I know what to do. I recently purchased Ghost Shrimp and 6 of them were living in a 1.5 gallon tank where my betta lived (before they ate him). So I figured if I want to put another betta in here at some point, and 6 ghost shrimp have the capability of killing it, I should make the group smaller. So I decided to move 2 of the shrimp into my 10 gallon tank with multiple fish that will kill them if they step out of line (All of my fish tolerate each other but they don't take any shit). Plus, my 10 gallon needed cleaning anyway, and the shrimp could do that. I opened the lid to my 1.5 gallon, AND A SHRIMP FUCKING LAUNCHES ITSELF OUT AND LANDS ON MY FLOOR. I was panicking, it was hopping all over the place, I tried to pick it up but it was too fast, so I grab the fish net, and SLAM THAT FUCKER DOWN ON IT TO TRAP IT. I slid I piece of paper under so I could easily move it, and I safely move it to the 10 gallon. I turn around, and 2 MORE SHRIMP ARE ON MY FLOOR. I repeat the process again, putting one in the 10 gallon, and the other back in the 1.5. I can easily say this is the strangest experience I've ever had with keeping fish. Thank you for your time.
